My vast experience and knowledge has culminated in working at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
I have worked with children who have special needs, language and communication difficulties for over 15years. I have worked in special schools, community clinic and child development services.
I am currently working in multidisciplinary (MDT) epilepsy clinics. My specialism lies with assessment particularly multidisciplinary assessment. I carry out assessment for children with language disorders, speech difficulties and with my MDT colleagues autism, ADHD, learning impairment to name but a few. Without truly understanding the nature of the difficulty it’s very hard providing the correct therapeutic input and advice.
I am able to build a great rapport with children and parents alike. I strongly believe in ensuring that therapy is relevant to real life and targets are set jointly with parents to make sure that therapy makes a real difference. I work part time for the NHS but after normal working hours I provide flexible working hours, including weekends.
