I have worked for over 30 years with children in both the NHS and the Independent sector. I have a wide range of experience working with language comprehension delay/disorder, speech sound delay and articulation difficulties, problems with attention and social communication difficulties associated with the autistic spectrum. I provide an objective assessment of the child’s speech and language abilities and work in partnership with the child, parents and school or nursery or playgroup to provide a programme of speech and laguage therapy to maximise the child’s communication potential. Therapy takes place in the child’s home, or when appropriate therapy sessions and liaison meetings may take place in school or in the nursery or playgroup.
