I have worked as a speech and language therapist for 16 years. I have experience working with children and young people aged 2 – 18 years of age, with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). I have worked in community clinics, special schools, mainstream primary and secondary schools, pupil referral units and with children who are looked after.

When working in schools, I like to work collaboratively and strategically which includes ensuring the environment is communication friendly, providing training for staff and completing in depth assessments with children/young people with recommendations that can be implemented in the classroom as well as providing direct intervention.
