Poppy is a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist with over 7 years of experience. Poppy specialises in autism, complex needs and early childhood language development. She is a certified Hanen: More Than Words practitioner and is able to offer this via tele-therapy.

Poppy has gained extensive experience working in the NHS within various preschool services for children aged 0-5 and SEN schools for children with autism aged 3-19.

Poppy also has experience of autism diagnosis within the NHS and is certified to deliver the ADOS-2 autism diagnostic assessment.

Poppy is passionate about supporting children to communicate to their full potential within their daily routines and play. Through this approach parents/carers are coached and supported to use strategies so that everyday interactions become a time for therapy.

Poppy is also trained and experienced in delivering: SCERTS for children with autism, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Makaton, Lego Therapy, Colourful Semantics, PECs, Attention Autism.
