I am a speech and language therapist who has over 15 years experience working for the NHS, with both pre-school children and school-aged children. I have experience of working in mainstream schools, pre-school clinics, nurseries, language units, Childrens Centres, and schools for children with Special Educational Needs. I have also worked in an Independent school for children with Dyslexia. I have worked with children who have language delay/disorder, phonology delay/disorder, Downs Syndrome Children and Autism. I am trained in the Lidcombe approach to stammering, Makaton Signing, Picture Exchange Communication (PECS), AAC, PCIT. I am also Hanen Trained, (International accredited training course) working specifically with pre-school children. I aim to make therapy fun and stimulating! I work closely with parents and schools/nurseries.
