I offer therapy for pre-school and school age children with speech, language and communication needs –improving speech sounds, self expression, understanding and/or relating to others. Normally, sessions are provided at your child’s home or school. I work closely with parents and teaching staff, as desired. Through experience and professional development, I have a depth of understanding of the many struggles children can have with speech, language and communication, and I have up-to-date expertise in therapy techniques which are fun, trusted and effective for different children. As well as being an experienced children’s speech and language therapist, I have a background in psychology, teaching and teacher training. I have particular knowledge of children’s speech and language in relation to literacy, friendships, children’s perspectives and academic outcomes.
