Laura Whittall

Having recently joined the board as Engagement Director I am really looking forward to connecting with members and making sure your voices help shape the future of the organisation. I’ve recently completed training in digital marketing and engagement strategies which I am keen to implement to ensure clear communication, accessible engagement and strengthening member connections.

I work across a wide age range, from early years to secondary school, with a particular focus on supporting neurodivergent young people and those with motor speech difficulties. I love working collaboratively with schools and families, always with an eye on the bigger picture, helping to shape environments to maximise communication success. Alongside clinical work, I am a strong advocate for clinical supervision and reflective practice, supporting fellow SLT’s to grow in confidence.

Outside of work, you will find me baking up a storm in the kitchen, walking in the woods and giving back to the local football, rugby and RAF cadet communities that my kids all enjoyed when they were younger, and are still a part of.
