Yesterday ASLTIP hosted its first free webinar for ASLTIP members. ASLTIP member, Bev Jessup hosted a one hour webinar looking at the use of Skype in her practice.
Bev shared a thorough guide to the advantages and disadvantages; her experiences and some really practical suggestions and strategies. Attendees benefited from Bev’s experience in using Skype in her practice as well as exploring alternative options that are used in the US.
As more and more services go online, and therapists explore various business models, the use of telepractice is growing. Clinicians use it as a means of providing sessions to clients who cannot access a physical clinic, be that due to distance or personal circumstances.
All attendees received access to the webinar video and the materials Bev shared in her presentation.
