I am a highly specialist speech and language therapist with over 19 years experience, working with children and young people in a variety of settings, including community clinics, mainstream and special schools, nurseries, child development centres and a specialist multi-disciplinary team for children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

I am experienced in working with children with a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties, however my particular interests and specialisms are working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Physical and/or learning disability and those who have Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) needs such as Makaton signing, PECS (Picture exchange Communication System) and other low/hi tech communication devices.  I also work with pre school and school aged children with language delay/disorder or speech sound difficulties.

I can offer assessment, advice and treatment in client’s own homes, nurseries, schools or colleges.  I feel passionately about working closely with parents and other important adult’s in a child’s life to make therapy goals functional and achievable and to enable children and young people to reach their full potential.

Please ring me for a free no obligation chat to find out how I might be able to help your child.
