Jo has an extensive history within the NHS as the lead SLT within a highly specialist interdisciplinary community team. Jo is therefore able to provide innovative SLT programmes embedded in an interdisciplinary context within patient-centred functional rehabilitation. Jo provides a coordinated, holistic rehabilitation approach working with individuals who have complex language and cognitive needs and significant physical, visual and perceptual impairment, emotional and behavioural difficulties.Jo is highly skilled in the assessment and provision of speech and language rehabilitation and integrated therapy for acquired communication and swallow difficulties associated with neurogenic conditions, specifically stroke and ABI. Also Prompt Level 1 trained.
