Charmaine Tearle

Working as a paediatric speech and language therapist and operating as a sole trader, every day is different. On any given day, you might find me providing assessments, therapy or even training across schools, pre-schools and clinics.

My passion is complex needs and AAC and I’m motivated when I observe young people confidently communicating, and know I’ve had a role in helping that to happen.

Being the ASLTIP treasurer is much more than number crunching and I love to give back to the membership through training, incentive packages and being the member voice at a national level.

When I am not working, I love walking my dogs and eating delicious vegan food.
